Once it has you, it drops a frown bomb with a soul-crushing burial, which prompts Yusuke to realize the value of his life.
Yusuke is given a few restrictions before being permitted to return to the living world after completing a series of tests. Yusuke is given the title of “Underworld Detective“ and is tasked with investigating various cases of spirits misbehaving in the real world due to his newly acquired ability to see spirits and demons. The characters in this program, in my opinion, are its greatest asset. Yusuke is the jerk with a golden heart.
He’ll act morally upright, but you can always count on him to sting you with a smart-alec comment. His interactions with his girlfriend are iconic and frequently finish with him getting slapped. He has most of the finest fights.
If you can get past Kurama’s poor sense of style, Hiei and Kurama are just great. The best is undoubtedly Kuwabara. He is so conceited, yet he consistently loses battles. After his lengthy explanations of how he’ll win the battle, it’s fun to see him get smashed to a pulp.

I like both, but YYH is superior to DB, in my opinion. YYH was DB’s opponent in the 1990s. Yet, DB has a larger viewership. Several people who have seen Yu Yu Hakusho prefer it than DB.
YYH begins as an emotional drama about an adolescent delinquent who dies trying to do something no one expected of him, and then goes on about him floating around the city as a spirit, watching how people missed him. This continues for a few episodes, and then things get interesting.
YYH has an excellent background score that lingers in your ears long after you turn off the television. Characters are fantastic, and the plot is compelling. It has violence, comedy, romance, and other elements, and DB has as well.
The producers put too much pressure on Togashi to speed up the show, and he veered away from the adventure road and toward a path akin to DB. The good person fights the wicked guy, then the next one… and so forth.
The main issue with DB is that it seems to have an endless story arc. You think the strongest being in the Universe is a villain, and then Goku destroys him, and another even stronger appears; other from that, it’s a good series.
