1. Ichigo Kurosaki vs Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez
Ichigo and Grimmjow are considered one of the most intense rivalries in Bleach. Grimmjow, an Arrancar, is known as one of the coolest villains, whereas, Ichigo, a Soul Reaper patrols around the fictional Karakura Town.
Their encounters have proven to push Ichigo to go beyond his best. And their fights often turn brutally thrilling as Ichigo uses his hollow mask to fight off Grimmjow.
2. Ichigo Kurosaki vs Renji Abarai
Ichigo and Renji’s thrilling fights truly stand out in this series. Their best fight happens during the Soul Society Arc during Ichigo’s attempt to rescue Rukia.
Rukia, who was a former friend of Renji, was abducted by Soul Society Arc and Renji played a major hindrance to her freedom.
Unlike the previous fight between Ichigo and Renji, this was brutal yet gripping as Ichigo came prepared this time. Their powers competed against one another’s.
After Ichigo appears victorious, he convinces Renji to see things the right way. Renji realizes this and begs Ichigo to save Rukia.
3. Ichigo Kurosaki vs Byakuya Kuchiki
Known as the final battle in Ryoka Invasion, the battle between Ichigo and Byakuya was under making for a long time.
In the previous fights, Byakuya appeared as a powerful and undefeated fighter. But with this battle, Ichigo proved everyone wrong with his strong sense of determinism.
After vigorous training, Ichigo makes his powerful Bankai and Hollowfied version debut in this duel. This final clash for Rukia’s fate is considered one of the iconic fights in Bleach.
Like Renji, Ichigo also made Byakuya see things in the right way upon victory. This battle changed the dynamics, as Byakuya saved Rukia and gave Ichigo a chance in the Soul Society.
4. Ichigo Kurosaki vs Kenpachi Zaraki
The battle between Ichigo and his monstrous opponent, Captain of Squad 11, was rip-roaringly iconic for many reasons. It was a battle that truly scared us Anime buffs and one I could not take my eyes off.
In this battle, every fan thought Ichigo would lose for the first time. But Ichigo appeared victorious after knocking Kenpachi out, and the battle came to a draw.
This battle also works as a force behind the character development of Ichigo. He realizes the worth of Zangetsu as a team member and the true power of a captain.
Although Kenpachi did not demonstrate his full strength, it goes without saying that the destruction will be unimaginable if both characters show use their full might.
5. Shunsui Kyoraku vs Coyote Starrk
A fight that starts slow and picks up pace as it progresses sounds like the start of something epic, doesn’t it?
The battle between Shunsui, who finally shows the ability of his power, and the strongest Espada, Coyote, is one of those battles.
The two veteran warriors battle out during the White Invasion. With Starrk releasing his Resurreccion and Kyoraku releasing his Shikai: the duel between them is regarded as one of the epic battles.
The fight finally concludes with Kyoraku winning, marking it as one of the best fights in Bleach.
6. Kenpachi Zaraki vs Nnoitra Gilga
The fight between Kenpachi and Nnoitra took place during the invasion of Hues Mound. This fight depicts the power and the swordsman’s ability of Kenpachi to the full extent.
Kenpachi was unable to harm the Quinto Espada initially. But, even after that, he was able to defeat Nnoitra. This is what makes this a compelling battle.
He adapted the Kendo Stance and changed his fighting techniques. He made use of both his hands to wield the sword, and with two swings, he destroyed the powerful Nnoitra with just two swings.
A fight that not only demonstrated Kenpachi’s power and his great swordsmanship but also proved how with determination, one can defeat all odds.
7. Uryu Ishida vs Mayuri Kurotsuchi
Uryu and Mayuri’s fight is one remarkable battle and a highlight of the show. This fight shows 12th Division Captain Mayuri’s powers and is a fight filled with vengeance.
Mayuri claimed to murder all Quincies, including Uryu’s grandfather. Upon knowing this, Uryu embarks on a revenge mission against Mayuri in this battle.
What makes this fight engrossing and extraordinary is the fact that even after being a Quincy, Uryu was able to defeat a captain.
8. Ichigo Kurosaki vs Ulquiorra Cifer
Ulquiorra, the fourth-most powerful Arrancar, is one of the deadly foes Ichigo has encountered.
Ulquiorra repeatedly beats Ichigo to the ground but still fails to defeat Ichigo. Ichigo’s wounds from the beating reveal his Hollowfied version as he whips Ulquiorra across the chest and cuts off his left ear.
Ichigo appears undefeated in the battle, and even Ulquiorra is shocked at being defeated by Ichigo. This is what makes this fight one of the many best fights in Bleach.
9. The Gotei 13 & The Visored vs Sosuke Aizen
The battle takes place in Karakura town. It involves the majority of Gotei and Visored coming together for one common objective: to defeat Sosuke Aizen.
The fact that the majority of members come together to face Aizen shows how powerful he was primarily and still is. And this is why this battle is counted as one of the best fights in Bleach.
10. Renji Abarai vs Byakuya Kuchiki
Renji Abarai realizes his mistake of being an obstacle to Rukia’s freedom. Upon realization, he decides to save her from her execution and lunges a battle against Byakuya.
As both characters reveal their Bankai, the fight truly turns enthrallingly brutal and serves as a driving force behind the change in Renji’s character.
