Strongest Akatsuki Members (Ranked)

Initially, Akatsuki was more like a liberation movement, the organization was founded during the 3rd shinobi world war by Yahiko who wanted to bring world peace and fight the oppression ad tyranny faced by his village during the war.

However, Obito Uchiha had other plans. After Yahiko’s death, He transformed the peaceful organization into the biggest and most wanted team of S-rated missing Nin.

Since then Aatsuki’s goal was to achieve world domination by capturing the tailed beasts. Although Akatsuki has a minor influence in the first season. It then became the major villain organization in part 2 of the Anime

In Naruto, Akatsuki emerged as the main criminal organization.

What is Naruto?

Masashi Kishimoto penned and drew the Japanese comic series Naruto. It chronicles the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a teenage ninja who wants credit from his classmates and aspires to become the Hokage or village leader.

The story is divided into two sections, the first taking place during Naruto’s pre-teen years and the second throughout his juvenility. The series is established on Kishimoto’s two one-shot manga: Karakuri (1995), which garnered Kishimoto an honorable mention in Shueisha’s monthly Hop Step Award the following year, and Naruto (1997).

From 1999 to 2014, Naruto was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shnen Jump magazine and broadcasted in tankbon (book) form in 72 volumes.

What is Akatsuki?

The Akatsuki is a group of shinobi who existed outside of the traditional system of hidden villages.

Over the course of several decades, Akatsuki assumed several shapes and was led by various persons. Though each iteration is considered either rebellious or illegal, they all attempt to improve the world through their own means. Each Akatsuki had multiple lairs distributed over the world, many of which were inaccessible due to their remoteness or the many security systems that secured them.

Nagato organizes Akatsuki members into teams of two, frequently based on perceived similarities (such as Itachi or Kisame) or beneficial pairings (such as Hidan and Kakuzu). Although some couples get along better than others, few appear to like each other; Sha no Sho observes that members always have separate rooms when staying at motels.

Hostilities can exist amongst members who aren’t couples, but because they rarely meet, this is rarely a problem. Teams roam the world pursuing Akatsuki’s goals, only gathering when Nagato summons them, usually to seal a tailed beast.

Madara Uchiha

Madara Uchiha is a powerful ninja from the Naruto universe and a member of the Akatsuki organization. He is known for his mastery of the Sharingan, As a member of Akatsuki, Madara plays a key role in the organization’s plans to capture the tailed beasts and achieve world domination.

He is also the one who founded the organization and the true leader behind it. Despite his advanced age, he is an incredibly powerful combatant and his abilities make him a formidable opponent for any ninja.

In his lifetime and for many years after his passing, Madara was regarded as the strongest Uchiha, making him one of the most powerful shinobi in history.

He was a kid genius who murdered numerous adult Senju before his Sharingan came to life. Future generations would not be able to equal Madara Uchiha’s might for two key reasons: He is the transmigrant of Indra Ootsutsuki.

Madara, like Sasuke, possessed the chakra of Indra, the elder son of the Sage of the Six Paths. One of the greatest shinobi to ever live was Indra.

Madara Uchiha

Obito Uchiha

Obito was able to escape the village’s defenses, free Kurama from Kushina, command Kurama to attack the settlement, and then engage Minato in a competitive fight.

At the age of 14, he had nearly mastered Kamui and had awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan.

He also included Hashirama’s cells, which meant that he possessed extraordinary regeneration and a weak wood style—enough to defeat a ninja of average skill.

At an early age, he swiftly handled many high-level Anbu black ops by getting through obstacles set by the 4th Hokage.

He then continued to fight Minato on a nearly equal footing, forcing Minato to use all of his strategies and abilities to defeat him.

Additionally, Obito was able to have enough chakra to defeat all nine tails. Obito was therefore already more powerful than other ninjas at the time at a young age.

With enough chakra, Obito was able to eliminate all nine tails.

In Naruto, Obito was one of the most powerful villains of all time. He was able to use six channels of power, a variety of mad Yin-Yang release techniques, and other extreme hacks.

Pain

Nagato Uzumaki developed the Six Paths of Pain and utilized chakra rods to control the corpses to fight for him. Each body possessed a unique Rinnegan ability, and their vision was interconnected.

Nagato Uzumaki was a master of every skill Jiraiya taught him. He has routes that can call enormous beasts, absorb chakra, and more.

His offensive strength is excessive, and I think he has a chance to defeat Obito and Itachi to some extent.

With only one assault, Tendo Pain destroyed more than half of the Hidden Leaf.
With only one assault, Tendo Pain destroyed more than half of the Hidden Leaf.

Tendo Pain destroyed more than half of the Hidden Leaf with only one attack. To take down all the bodies of Pain, Naruto required all the luck and effort he could manage. Nagato could have easily murdered Naruto if he had been able to defend himself.

Orochimaru

In Part I of the Manga and Anime series Naruto, Orochimaru was the major antagonist; however, in Part II, his importance declined. The Fourth Great Ninja War was sparked by a series of events that were still influenced by Orochimaru.

Orochimaru is unquestionably among the greatest ninja of all time in terms of strength, and he has created more new Jutsu than any other shinobi in history.

Orochimaru once had a close connection with the Akatsuki, and he still wears the ring today.

Despite having a strong personality, Orochimaru had not mastered Edo Tensei throughout his tenure in the Akatsuki.

He hasn’t been an active member for some time, though, since he became more attracted to the group’s selfish goals than its idealistic ones.

Itachi Uchiha

One of the strongest Uchiha clan members is Itachi Uchiha. Itachi battled Sasuke even though he was nearly blind, demonstrating that his fighting prowess was far superior to what anybody could have imagined.

Itachi is more unique than any other Uchiha in the series, and although not acclaimed as a hero, he is a shinobi who significantly contributed to the development of the modern ninja world.

Itachi has the unusual ability to use his Susanoo to produce enormous chakra-powered shuriken. Itachi’s strongest long-range strike, known as Yasaka Magatama, has a tremendous amount of strength.

Kabuto Yakushi

One of the most powerful enemies in the Naruto universe and one of the few to have lived to see the end of the series was Kabuto.

He is a terrifyingly competent guy infamous for the damage he can do, having learned all of the abilities of the Sound Village to enhance his own strength.

Kabuto conducted several experiments on his own body as part of his “search to know himself,” fusing Orochimaru’s DNA with that of several other experiment subjects. He then had access to their special skills, moves, and kekkei Genkai.

Black Zetsu

The most potent being in the Kaguya Otsutsuki universe and the most potent being in the Naruto universe is Black Zetsu.

In essence eternal, Black Zetsu is similar to many other Akatsuki. It can withstand severe damage and live for thousands of years without aging. It may attach itself to individuals and take over their minds.

Black Zetsu is a true master manipulator, able to change its body’s shape and take control of other bodies for its own purposes.

As a result of owning a ninja with such skills, it was also able to perform sophisticated techniques like the Sharingan and Rinnegan as well as uncommon and powerful natural transformations like the Wood Release.

Shin Uchiha

Although Shin Uchiha isn’t officially an Uchiha or a member of the Akatsuki, he is nevertheless an overwhelming force of a foe.

He adopts the name Uchiha after becoming fascinated with the almost extinct clan and, in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, strives to resurrect the Akatsuki because he thinks that violence would advance human progress.

His body is covered in Sharingan eyes, and he has a special quality that prevents his body from rejecting transplanted parts.

His clone army provides him with an endless supply of labor and extra body parts, and his Sharingan enables him to telekinetically control everything he applies a particular seal on.

It’s hardly surprising that this ninja needed the combined efforts of Sakura and Sasuke to be defeated.

Conclusion

  • Nobody enters the Akatsuki without first showing that they are a very exceptional badass fighter.
  • Each of the 10 main members of Akatsuki receives ten rings. The fact that Orochimaru carried his ring with him when he defected suggests that the rings serve as symbols of both membership and ring rank.
  • The intentions of this organization, which was founded by ninjas who fled their own towns, change as the plot develops, but they are usually always fighting against the objectives of Naruto’s heroes.
