The story is about a bunch of friends gathering around and then deciding to film a movie during their long summer vacations.
Kaito Kirishima, who’s one of the leads in the show, is testing out his camera one day on a bridge. It was then that a bright light flashed across his camera, causing him to trip from the railings of the bridge.
However, the next day Kaito woke up in his room completely unharmed and was in shock. As he returned to school, his friends agreed that it would be a great idea to use his camera over the summer break and create an entertaining movie.
This decision leads to an extremely fun-filled summer and it is during this time that many relationships between the group of friends came into existence. The series then focuses on romantic attractions and portrays them in a heartfelt manner.
But what actually hooks the viewers to the shoe till the end is the combination of new and old conventions of romance.

The Anime, Special A, focuses on the romantic endeavors that this group pursues. The story primarily revolves around Hikari and her attempts to defeat her rival, Kei. She’s supposed to tutor Kei’s younger brother and then finds herself falling in love through this rivalry.
Hikari Hanazono is an extremely talented character who has excelled in everything that she’s done in life until now. This gave her a lot of confidence in her abilities and led to her constantly challenging others.
She always won the challenges with others, until she came across Kei Takishima. As she was confident in her abilities, Hikari challenges Kei, but unfortunately lost.
She couldn’t bear the defeat and therefore, challenged him again. However, she didn’t win this time around either. She continued to lose and this enraged Hikari, who then took an oath to become better than Kei in every category possible.
She even goes on to attend the Hakusenkan Academy, which is a prestigious institute. Hikari reunites with Kei here and the two of them become the top students in class.
Their rivalry continues, but it’s mixed with romantic tension between the two. However, Hikari is oblivious to the fact that Kei crushes on her and her rivalry.
Toradora!
Toradora! is a comedy-drama Anime that has an ongoing theme of romance as well. It revolves around the life of Ryuuji Takasu, a gentle high school student who loves housework.
Although Ryuuji has a scary face, he has a very gentle soul. Whereas, Taiga Aisaka, on the other hand, is a fierce girl who’s not scared of anyone.
Taiga is always ready for a battle and she’s even known as the Palm-Top Tiger in school because of her challenging and competitive nature.
However, Taiga is also very clumsy and it’s due to her clumsiness that Ryuuji and Taiga end up talking. They even discover later in the show that they both have a crush on each other’s best friends. This of course leads to the both of them becoming each other’s wingmen.
While this Anime does sound like a quite common rom-com, Toradora! is far from being basic. The reason fans love this show is because of its unique characters who have amazing chemistry.
Moreover, many people also believe that the series has one of the best romance scenes in the history of Anime. It even avoids the pitfalls of other romantic comedies and doesn’t spoil anything.
It’s a very relatable show that Anime fans love to watch!

Nisekoi
Nisekoi: False Love is a Japanese romantic comedy Manga series, which was written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi. This Anime is a perfect one if you’re in the mood for a lighthearted romantic comedy.
The show revolves around the story of two high school students: Raku Ichijou and Chitoge. It follows the daily life of Raku as he struggles to come to terms with changes taking place in his life.
A new gang moved to town and this caused conflict between Raku’s Yakuza family and the Bee Hive gang. The fathers of Raku and Chitoge wanted this rivalry to come to an end and everyone to be at peace, so they decided to make both their children date.
Both of them agree to go along with the plan but aren’t entirely happy with it, especially Raku who has a crush on a different girl.
Throughout the series, Raku involves himself with several other girls in order to look for the one whom he promised his heart to when he was young.
In short, the Anime series revolves around love triangles, confusion, and heartbreak. Therefore, it’s a perfect Anime for those who are into heartfelt romance.

His and Her Circumstances is a romantic comedy based on a popular shojo Manga by Masami Tsuda. The series revolves around two high school students and their blossoming love for each other.
Yukino Miyazawa is regarded as one of the most popular students at school, due to her exceptional grades, extroverted personality, and also her athleticism.
Yukino has to work incredibly hard in order to maintain this superior status that she has achieved. However, there’s one person that she fails to outshine and that is Soichiro Arima.
Soichiro is the male class representative and Yukino is incredibly envious of him. The two of them are great rivals and are constantly competing.
However, one day Soichiro visits Yukino and discovers her true personality. Soichiro then blackmails Yukino into assisting him with his work in the student council.
As the two of them start to spend more time together, they being to understand each other and also like each other.
The story of this Anime is pretty basic, but it’s the dynamic characters and their off-beat personalities, which make the show worth a watch.
